Founded in 1971, Dahl-Chase Pathology Associates has served as a regional model for providing high-quality diagnostic expertise in anatomic & clinical pathology with multiple specialties and subspecialties to the patients and physicians in the State of Maine. Thirteen board-certified pathologists with subspecialty certification in dermatopathology, hematopathology, cytopatholopgy, and transfusion medicine provide:

• Anatomic and clinical pathology laboratory services
• Consultation in laboratory management with emphasis on standardization of best laboratory practices
• Support for clinical research with emphasis on expanding the menu of clinically significant laboratory tests

Their unique vision of medical laboratory management has laid the foundation for a closely affiliated center of diagnostic excellence, Dahl-Chase Diagnostic Services, which provides specialized pathology services, including Histology, Cytology, Flow Cytometry, Molecular Pathology and Courier Services.
